the shop Wm. Tyler desired them towards up stairs with him
& they did so and they went into the two pair of stairs back room
and there Dept saw the deced. lying dead upon the floor near the
Window which he believes was up Dept. told him he had done a very
resh action. He does not recollect any thing sayed by Wm. Tyler thrown
they were went down stairs and he walked with Dept in the Street
says he then saw a Pistol in his hand & he say to Dept. he that he
had done nothing but what was justifiable he did't to protect his
Sister says he seemed much flurried and Dept walked with him to
his Fathers at Male end & on being let in he sayed to his father
Father I have shot Edis which effected the Latter very muchafterwds.
Dept [..] was desired by his Master to send down his Daur Dept.
returned to the Shop & did so

of Chequer Yard near Mr. Tylers house watching his faster servants
who were employed in emplying a priory in Mr. Tayler Celler Wm.
Tyler Junr< no role > . came to Dept and sayed to him Jo. Barber follow me
whichDept asked where to & he sayed never mind came along up a
which he went into his fashers Cellar and Dept followed him the
asked Dept to set abr [..] and Dept lighted a Candles that they then
went up into the Shop & the last Witnesses Mr. Burbridge recd. the shop
door from the Street that they then all three went up stairs into
the back room of the two pair of stair and Wm. Tyler< no role > went forward
& sayed here he is Dept Stepped forward thinking it might be a theif
& the saw it was Mr. Edis lying deced upon the floor near the Window
that the Window was nearly quite thrown up Dept asked who had
shot him and Wm. Tyler made answer I did Dept asked him what
he could do such a thing for and he answered he had attempted to
get, or come, [..] in to his Sister Dept sayed he was sorry, he had done
