Informations of Witnesses taken at the
parish of Saint Thomas within the Borough of
Southwark in the County of Surrey on the 22d
day of October 1788 on view of the Body of
William Robinson< no role > now here lying dead.

and saith That he hath known the deced about
fifteenth Years that deced formerly Worked for
said Mr. Arnoldwhere a Goldsmith by Trade
that said Mr. Arnold had been out of town
a Week or ten days that the deced came to
assist Dept. in his Business at said Mr. Arnolds
thatbetween five &about 6 OClock on Monday Evening
last Dept. saw deced sitting down in the Back
Shop of said Mr. Arnolds House that he seemed
very low and Melancholy-that Dept. did not
take much Notice of the deced but went about
his Business ofthenthat Dept. went out about some
Business of his Masters that he returned a
little before sight and went into the Back Shop
but deced was not there-that Dept. had not
sit above three Quarters before he was alarmed
by some People knocking at the Front door of
said House that Dept. went to the door and on
his opening it-some people told Dept. that
a Man had fallen out of the three pair of Stairs
Window of said House-that on Dept. going out
of Doors into the Street he found the deced lying
in the middle of the Street facing, the front door
of said House-that Dept. went to him found him
greatly bruised and some Blood near him that
