of the Peace for the said City and Libertices.

to wit


WHEREAS Maria Waring< no role > of the
Parish of Saint Dionis Back Church
in the said City single Women, in her voluntary
Examination taken this Day in Writing, and upon
Oath, before me (one of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace, in and for the said City and Liberties) hath
declared that she is now above
Months gone and quick one do three with Child, or Children, which is or are
likely to be born a Bastard, and to become chargeable
to the said Parish of Saint Dionis Back Church
And that William Read< no role > servants messrs. Nicholas
of and Cox of no. 40 Lime Street in the said City
is the Person who so got her with Child, or Children.
And whereas
one of the Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of
Saint Dionis Back Church in the
said City
hath made Application unto me for the immediate
Apprehending the said William Read< no role >
to answer to the Premises:
THESE are therefore in his Majesty's Name, to
authorize and required you and every of you, to
apprehend the said William Read< no role > and
to bring him before me, or some other of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace , for this City and Liberties, that
he be proceeded against as the Law directs. Given
under my Hand and Seal, this thirteenth Day
of October in the Year of our Lord one
