To the Church-Wardens and Overseers of
the poor of the parish of st. Dyonis Back
Church London And to the rest of the
Gentlemen of the Vestry of the said
parish Church

The Humble Petition of Ruth Harris< no role > of the parish
of St. Dyonis Back Church aforesaid Widdow of
John Harris< no role > late of the same parish Joyner

Humbly Sheweth


That your Petitioner being very
aged and infirm is reduced to great want and poverty
in so much that it were impossible for her to subsist
were it not through the Care and Industry of her
Daughter RuthHarris< no role > who now lives with and
provides for her.

Your Petitioner therefore Chumbly
prays That you the Gentlemen above said
will look upon her as the greatest object
of your Charity And will be pleased to
bestow upon her the Five pounds now in
Your Power to dispose of as being the
Gift of Alderman Aboey deceased to a
poor House keeper in this parish to be
paid yearly at Christmas

And Your Petitioner Shall ever
pray Etc
