Whereas Complaint hath been made unto Us two of
His Majesties Justices of the Peace for this City and the
Liberties thereof one being of the Quorum by the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Botolph
without Aldgate London That Richard
Stolen
< no role > , Sarah< no role > his Wife , and their three Children,
Susannah< no role > aged abt: 5: Years, Sarah< no role > aged abt: 3: Years, and
Thomas< no role > aged about 3: Months are
lately come to reside in your said Parish not having obtaind any
Legal Settlement there and are likely to become chargeable
thereto unless timely presented Which Complaint We judge to
be true and for as much as it appears unto Us by the Oath of the
Said Richd. Stolen< no role > That abt: [..] Years agoe he Lived a [..]
Yearly hired Servant with Charles Brockles< no role > by for the Space
of about Eight Years at Mc. Wage of £4. a Year in the paid Parish
of St. Dionis Backchurch London
And no other subsequent Settlement appearing unto We the
Said Justices are of opinion and do Adjudge the last Legal
Settlement of the said Richd: Stolen< no role > Sarah< no role > his Wife and
Their above said three Children
to be in the said Parish of Saint Dionis Backchurch
London And that thitherto they ought by Law
to be sent

These are therefore in his Majesties Name Will and
Require you the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of
the said Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldsgate
& London forthwith to Remove and [..]
Stolen, and Sarah< no role > his Wife and their abovesd: 3 Children
from and out of your Parish unto the said Parish of Saint
Dionis Backchurch London
And them deliver unto the Churchwardens and Overseers
if the Poor there or one of them Who is and are hereby required
to Receive and provide for them attending to Law Given
under our hands and Seals this Fifth day of September
one Thousand Seven hundred and Forty five
