To the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of St. Bridget als Brides
London, and the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Dionis
Backchurch London< no role > respectively.

For Delmed Rayor

WHEREAS Complaint hath this Day been made
unto us two of His Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the
Peace for this City, and the Liberties thereof (Quorum
nuns) by You the Churchwarden and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parise of St. Bridget ate Brides
London, That Dorothy Holloway< no role > Widow and Joyce her
Daughter aged about nineteen year and lately round into
and are now resident in
your said Parish not having obtained any
legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge
able there to by reason of the poverty and in ability of the
said Mother unless timely prevented,
which Complaint we adjudge to be true. And forasmuch
as it appears unto us by the Oath of the said Dorothy that her
tale Husband George Holloway< no role > deced was n Appentice
abt. 27yrs age to a Baker in the Parise of St. Dionis
Backchurch London & that win his lifetime or she
Since his deat & Have or hat
not obtain'd any subsequent Settlement. We the said Ju-
stices are therefore of Opinion, and do adjudge the last
Joyer her daughter to be in the said
Paris & of St. Dionis Backchurch & London and
that thirtherto they ought by Law to be sent.

THESE are therefore, in His Majesty< no role > 's Name, to re-
quire you remove and convey the said Dorothy Holloway< no role >
& Joyne her daughter
from and out of your said Paris & of St. Bridget ate
Brides London, to the said Paris of St. Dionis Back
Church London and them leave with the churchwarden &
Overseers of the Poor there, or one of them, who is and
are hereby required to receive and provide for them
according to Law. Hereof fail not, and this shall be your
Warrant. Given under our Hands and Seals the 21st.
Day of April Anno Domini 172 4
