Parish of Saint Andrew Holborne above Carrs in the County
of Middx And also to the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Dionis Backchurch
in London And to Every of them

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made by you unto us whole
Hands and Seals are hereunto set two of his Majesty< no role > 's
Justices of the Peace (Quorum nuns) for the County of Middx
aforesaid, That Ann East< no role > a Singlewomen has
lately intruded herself into your said Parish
of St. Andrew Etc there to Inhabit as Parishioners contrary to
the Laws relating to the Settlement of the Poor, and is there likely
to become Chargeable, if not timely prevented: And whereas, up
on due Examination and Enquiry made into the Premises, upon
Oath it appear
unto us, and We accordingly Adjudge, That the said Ann
East lis
Likely to become Chargeable and that her Legal Place of Set
tlement was in the said Parish of Saint Dionis
Backchurch in London Whither by Law the
ought to be sent

There are therefore, in his Majesty< no role > 's Name, to Order and
Require you the said Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
St. Andrews Etc aforesaid, That you, or some of you do forth-
with remove and convey the said Ann Ewst< no role >
from your said Parish
to the Parish of St. Dionis Backchurch aforesaid, and her deliver
to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant or Order, or a true
Copy thereof, whereby they are likewise Required, in his Majesties
Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Cafe, and forthwith
to receive the said Ann Ewst< no role >
into their said Parish of St. Dionis & and provide for her
as their own Parishioners Given under our Hands and Seals, the
24th. Day of August Anno Regm Dnidurd
