Dni 1713.

Whereas James Speller< no role > of ye parish of St. DionisLondonBack Church London being a Lunatrikis by
the Governors. of the said hospital of Bethlem att ye special instance & request of ye above bound John
Barber
< no role > & William Holloway< no role > taken into ye sd hospital there to remain untill it Shall please God he
Shall be recovered into hisformer Senses or untill heShall be by the President Trear
Physitian< no role > or any three of ye Governors. of the said Hospital thought fitt to be thence discharged Therefore
the Condicon of this obligacon is such That if ye above bound John Barber< no role > & William Holloway< no role >
or either of them their or either of their hevres Executors or Admd do & shall take provide for & receive
again ye sd. James Spelleratt such time as ye Governors of ye sd hospital or any three of them
Shall order him to be thence discharged And dureing his contunieance in ye sd hospital do & Shall
find provide or pay for all manner of necessary & Sufficient apparrell for ye sd James Speller< no role >
And Also in case of ye death of ye said James Spellerdo & Shall pay ye Charge of burgal &
indempnifie ye said hospital and the Governor. thereof & their Stock & fund from any damage or
Charge that Shall or may arise thereby And in case ye sd John Barber< no role > & William Holloway< no role > or
one of them do not remaine & take away ye sd James Spelleratt such time or times as
by thesaidPresident Trear Doctor or Concee of ye sd hospital for ye tune being heShall be ordered
to be thence discharged Then if ye sd John Barber< no role > & William Holloway< no role > or either of them their or
either of their hevres Executors Admrs. or assignes do & Shall well & truely pay or cause to be paid unto ye
Trear of ye said Hospital for ye time being ye Sume of Twenty Shillings Sterling money< no role > on ye Saturday
in every week for So long time as ye sd James SpellerShall remaine in ye sd hospital after
heShall be ordered to be thence discharged as aforesd And Shall also pay or cause to be paid unto
the Surgeon of ye sd. hospitalfor [..] being all Such money as Shall be due unto him or as he Shall
reasonably require for ye Cure of any wound which ye sd James Speller< no role > had on his body att ye
time was reced into ye sd hospital Then this obligacon Shall be void But if breach Shall be made in
any of ye Clauses aforesd it Shall Stand in full force
