in the saith Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third
by the Grace of God, of Great-Britain, France, and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, and so forth, and
in the Year of our Lord 17 64 Witnesseth, That William Kippex< no role > and John Haydon< no role >
Churchwardens of the Parish of Saint
Dionis Pickchurch in the City of London And George Maynard Peter
Pope, Richard James< no role > and Francis Luck< no role > Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish by and with the Consent of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace of the said City
whose Names are hereunto subscrib'd, have put and plac'd, and by these Presents do put and place
James Parker< no role > aged Fourteen years or thereabout, a poor Child of the said
Parish Apprentice to an Jackson of the Parish of St. Mary Whitechapel Widow with h er to
dwell and serve from the Day of the [..] ate of these Presents, until the said Apprentices shall accomplish h er full Age of Twenty one
yesterday of Marriage according to the Statute in that Case made and provided: During all which Term, the said Appentice h er
said M istress faithfully shall serve in all lawful Business, according to h er Power, Wit, Ability; and honestly, orderly, an obediently in
all Things demean and behave h er self towards h er said M istres and all h is during the said Term. And the said Ann Jackson< no role >
for h er self, h er Executors and Administrators, doth Covenant and Grant [..] with the said Church-wardens and Overseers,
and every of them, their, and every of their Executors and Administrators, and t [..] the [..] ery of their Successors, for the Time being, by
these presents, That the said Ann Jackson< no role > the said Apprenti [..] and Business she new useth
shall teach and instruct or cause to be taught and instructed

And shall and will, during all
the Term aforesaid, find, provide, and allow unto the said Appentice meet, competent, and sufficient Meat, Drink, Apparel, Lodging, Wash-
ing, and all other Things necessary and fit for an Apprentice : And also shall and will so provide for the said Apprentice, that she be not any
way a Charge to the said Parish or Parishioners of the same; but of and from all Charge shall and will save the said Parish
and Parishioners harmless and indemnify'd during the said Term:

In Witness whereof the Parties abovesaid to these present Indentures interchangeably have put their Hands and Seals the Day and Year above-written.
