His Indenture Witnesseth, That John Hodgson< no role > Son
Edward Hudson< no role > late of the Town and
County of Lambister Taylor deceased
doth put himself Appentice to John Poyser< no role >
Citizen, and 3 year of London, to learn his
Art, and with (after the manner of an Appentice) to feive
from the day of the date hereof

unto the full end and Term of Seaven years,
from thence next following to he fully complete and ended During
which Term, the and Appentice his said Matter faithfully Matter
his secret keep his lawful Commandments every where gladly do
He shall do no damage to his said [..] nor see to be done of others; but that he to his power
[..] for the give warning to his said Matter of the same shall not waste the Goods of his
and Matter nor them unlawfully any. He [..] communication, nor contract Matri-
nony within the his Term. He shall not plan at Cards, Dice, Tables, or any other unlawful he Games
whereby his said Master may have any loss. With his own Goods or others, during the Old Term,
without License of his said Master he shall not neither buy nor fell, he shall not haunt Taverns or Play-
houses, not absent himself from his said Masters service day nor night unlawfully; But in all things as
a faithful Apprentice, he shall behave himself towards his said Master and all his during the said
Term. And the said Master his said Appentice in the same Art which he useth, by the best means that
he can, shall teach and instruct, or curse to be taught and instructed, finding unto his said Apprentice,
Meat, Drink, Apparel, Lodging, and all other Necessaries, according to the Custom of the City
of London , during he said Term. And for the true performance of all and every the said Cove-
tors and Agreements, either of the said Parties and themselves unto the other by these presents.
to Witness whereof the Parties above named, to these Indentures Interchargerbly have, put their Hands
and Seals, the Nineteenth day of [..] ber Ann Dom. 1703 and in the
Second Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lady ANNE , Queen of England Etc.
