Mr. Church Warden Hunter acquainted the
Gentlemen present that this Meeting was summoned
for the Nomination and Return of Ward Officers for
the year ensuing.

Constables
Inquestmen

A List of the Thirty six Senior Inhabitants of
the Ward as they stood in rotation for the Offices
of Constable and Inquestmen was produced and
read over.

A letter from Mr. John Dod< no role > was read, desiring
to resign the Office of Common Council Man as
it interfered too much with his Business.

Resolved unanimously That the Thanks as this
meeting be given to Mr. Dod, for his Attention to
the Duties of Common Council Man while in Office
and the Services he has done the Ward.

Common Council
men

Mr. Thomas Arpes< no role > and Mr. Richd. Dixon were
serverally nominated and Ordered to be returned to
the Wardmote for Common Council Men

Mr. Ambrose Weston< no role > , of the Precinct of Saint
Gabriel Fenchurch< no role > , was also put in nomination
and ordered to be returned for Commn Council
Man.

Collector of
Consolidated Rates

Mr. Robt. Taylor< no role > was nominated for Collector
of the Consolidated Rates.

The Meeting was then adjourned until another
Summons.
