Mr. Church Warden Layton acquainted the
Gentlemen present that this Meeting was summoned
for the nomination and return of Ward Officers for
the year ensuing.

Constables
Inquest men

A list of the thirty six Senior Inhabitants of
the Ward as they stood in rotation for the Offices of
constable and Inquest Man was produced and read
over.

Common Council
men

Mr. Dunnage objected to his being nominated
on account of his having served the Office of Common
Council Man in another Ward, which he was desired
to represent at the Wardmote.

Collector of
Consolidated Rates

Mr. John Dod< no role > and Mr. Thomas Ayres< no role > were
severally nominated and ordered to be returned to
the Wardmote for Common Council Men, and Mr.
Robt. Taylor for Collector of the Consolidated Rates.

The Meeting was then adjourned until another
Summones.

Alderman Abdy's
Gift

The Petition of Wm. Cogan< no role > a Poor Householder of this
Parish for Alderman Abdy's Gift of Five Pounds being
presented and read, it was ordered that the same be
given to him according to the prayer of his Petition

Sacrament Money

The rest of Mr. Abdy's Gift being fifty shillings, together
with fifty Shillings for Sacrament Money, was
distributed as follows,
