At this Meeting Mr. Church Warden Hankey
acquainted the Gentlemen present that Application
had been made by

tow poor Householders of this Parish for the late Alder.
-man Abdy's Gift of Five Pounds. But a Question being
made whether

was a Householder properly
settled in this Parish or not, it was after some Debate
Resolv'd in the Affirmative. After this the Petition
of
Charles Long< no role >
was read, And upon Holding up of
Hands Mr. Church Warden Hankey declared that
there was a Majority in favor of Mr. Long, and he
being called in the Five Pounds was given to him
according to his petition. The Remainder of the said
Alderman Abdy's Gift being Fifty Shillings, together
with Fifty shillings Sacrament Money was distributed
as follows.
