from Serving the said Offices upon paying the said Fine
of Fourteen Pounds.

Mr. Edward Colson< no role > was next in Nomination, and it
was alledged that Mr. Colson was gone to France upon
Business and would not return within the time when the
Constables were sworn in But some objections being made
to such Allegation as an in sufficient Excuse It was moved
on the part of Mr. Colson that he be admitted to Fine And
the Question being thereupon put It was ordered that Mr.
Colson be excused from Serving the Offices of Constable
and Inquest Man upon paying the Fine of Fourteen Pounds.

Mr. Thomas Palmer< no role > was then put up and Chose
Constable and Inquest Man in the room of Mr. Colson But
Mr. Church Warden Kellam desired on the part of Mr. Palmer
that he be admitted to Fine And he moved that Mr. Palmer be
excused from Serving upon paying the Fine of Fourteen Pounds
And the Question being put it was carried in the Affirmative
and Ordered accordingly.

Mr. Samuel Wallis< no role > was then put up and Chose
Constable and Inquest Man in the room of Mr. Palmer. But
Mr. Wallis desired leave to Fine. And it being thereupon
moved and the Question put It was Ordered that Mr. Wallis
be excused from serving the said Offices upon paying the Fine
of Fourteen Pounds.

Mr. James Gorden< no role > was then put up and Chose
Constable and Inquest Man in the room of Mr. Wallis.

Ordered that Mr. George Dighton< no role > and Mr. James
Gordon be return'd to the Wardmote as Constables and
Inquest Men for the Year ensuing.

Common
Council men

Then Mr. George Maynard< no role > , Mr. Willm. Chesson,
Mr. James Hebert< no role > , and Mr. William Lem< no role > were
severally nominated, and unanimously ordered to
be return'd to the Wardmote for Common Council Men
for the Year ensuing.
