of the Poor of this Parish, were extremely ill. He therefore
thought it expedient to remove them to some other place.

Mr. Church Warden Green then Produced Articles of
Agreement bearing date the twenty eighth day of January
last between Messrs. Hughes and Phillips of Hoxton and the
Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint
Thomas Apostle London and acquainted the Vestry that the
said Messrs. Hughes and Phillips had offered to take the Care
and maintainance of the Poor of this Parish Upon the same
Terms as mentioned in that Agreement.

Ordered that the said Agreement be read.

And the said Agreement being read and considered Mr.
Newton Moved that it be referred to a Committee to treat with
the said Messrs. Hughes and Phillips or any other Person or
Persons Upon the best terms they could for the Care and
maintainance of the Poor of this Parish and to remove the
Poor from the place they were now in And the Motion being
Seconded the Question was put and Carried in the Affirmative.

Church Wardens of this Parish, Mr. Henry Newton< no role > , Mr. John
Chauntrell,
< no role > Mr. Peter Pope< no role > Mr. Richard James< no role > This name instance is in set 2783. , Mr. William
Lem , Mr. George Maynard< no role > Mr. James Hebert< no role > , and Mr. John
Haydon or any three of them with the Church Wardens be a
Committee and be empowered by this Vestry to treat and
agree with the said Messrs. Hughes and Phillips or any other
Person or Persons for the care and maintainance of the Poor
of this Parish and that the Poor be removed from the Place
they are now in.

Ordered that the Report of the said Committee
be made to the next Vestry.

Organ

Mr Church Warden Green then took notice that
Complaint had been made to him that the Organ was
not properly Tuned or Cleaned And Upon some Dabate
thereon It was Ordered that the further Consideration of
that matter be postponed to the next Vestry.
