Mr Church Warden Green Acquainted the Gentlemen
Present that this Vestry was Held pursuant to Public
notice given in the Church to take into Consideration
the Present State and Condition of the Poor of this
Parish in the Workhouse and on other Affairs.

And Mr. Newton alledged that there was no
Complaint of ill treatment from Mr. Birch the Master
of the Workhouse , but that the Place was improper:
for that many Poor of other Parishes had been taken
in, which render'd it unwholsome: And that several.
