Alderman Abdy's
Gift.

This Meeting was summoned by Mr. Church Warden
Lem for the distribution of Seven Pounds ten shillings
the Gift of Mr. Alderman Abdy deceas'd At which time
the Petition of Abraham Lacey< no role > for Five Pounds given
by the said Alderman Abdy's Will to a Poor Householder
of this Parish was delivered in and read. And some
of the Gentlemen Present took notice that there were two
other Poor Householders who were in greater Necessity
than Mr. Lacey. But it was Objected that no application
had been made by either of those Persons and it was not
evident that they were in such Circumstances as had
been represented Upon which the Question was put
that the said Five Pounds should be given to the said
Abraham Lacey pursuant to the Prayer of his Petition
and the same was Ordered accordingly. The Remainder
of the said Gift being Fifty shillings together with
Fifty shillings Sacrament Money was distributed as
follows.
