Appointed to Audit the late Mr. Church Warden William
Kippax's Account for their great Care of the Interests
of this Parish in Inspecting the same Account and
laying the several Workmen's Bills before this Vestry for
approbation previous to their being Allowed. And being
Seconded the Question was put on the said Motion and
past in the Affirmative Nem: Con.

Ordered that the Thanks of this Vestry be given
to the Gentlemen appointed to Audit the said Mr. Church:
Warden William Kippax< no role > 's Account for their great Care
of the Interest of this Parish in Inspecting the same
Account and laying the several Workmen's Bills before
this Vestry for approbation previous to their being
Allowed.

Ordered That the several
Sums of Money laid out and
Expended by Mr. Wm. Kippax< no role >
the late Upper Church Warden
In the Repairs of the Clock.
Dial, and Chimes and other
Repairs of the Church as
appeared by the Workmen's Bills
and Receipts be Allowed him
on the Audit of his Account.

Then Mr. Church Warden Haydon Moved
that the several Sums of Money laid out and expended
by Mr. William Kippax< no role > the late Upper Church Warden
in the repairs of the Clock Dial, and Chimes, and other
repairs of the Church as appeared by the Workmens
Bills and Receipts be Allowed him on the Audit of his
Account and being Seconded by Mr. John Barnard< no role > the
Question was put on the said Motion and past in the
Affirmative.

Then Mr. Church Warden Haydon acquainted
the gentlemen present that He had received a Letter
from Mr. Richard Birch< no role > , the Master of the Parish
Workhouse dated the 24th. day of June last, which he
delivered in at the Table.

Ordered That the said Letter be now read
and the same was read accordingly.

Maintenance of
Poor.

Ordered That the present Church Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor be Empowered by this Vestry
to Treat and Agree with the said Mr. Birch Upon< no role >
the best Terms they can, for the Maintenance of
the Parish Poor from Michaelmas now next coming
not exceeding the Allowance of Three Shillings and
Six pence P Week for each Man or Woman and Three
Shillings P Week for each Child.
