from the Parishioners under Colour or in Liew of Wages And
that he constantly attend and discharge the duties of his place
on all Occasions.

Mr. Richard James< no role > , Mr. Francis Leech< no role > , Mr. James Hebert< no role > ,
Mr. John Chauntrell< no role > Mr. Henry Newton< no role > , Mr. Thomas Hunter< no role >
and Mr. James Dunn< no role > , Or any three of them be appointed
Auditors to audit the Accounts of Mr. William Kippax< no role > , the
same to be audited in one Month.

Parish
Boundaries

Then Mr. Church Warden Kippax Reported from the
Committee appointed to settle and Ascertain the Parish
Boundaries That They were of opinion that the Ground belonging
to the Parish from East to West from the Back Wall of the House
in Philpot Lane late Mr. Oswald's is 23 Feet. 8 Inches or
there abouts as will appear by the Marks now fixed.

Mr. Maynard then acquainted the Vestry that a
Parish Mark had been put up ever since the Year 1669 against
the Back part of Mr. Greenwoods House in Rood Lane but for
what Reason was not known as this Parish laid no Claim
to any part of the same House He therefore moved That the
said Mark be Remov'd, that no Charge might hereafter acorne
to the Parish on account of the same, as no Benefit was receiv'd
from the said House. After some Debate Mr. Thomas Hudson< no role >
was desired to attend the Committee and view the same.
before any determination shou'd be made on that Head.

Legacy

Then Mr. Church Warden Kippax acquainted the
Vestry that Mr. George Cope< no role > late of Stratford in Essex
Poulterer deceas'd had by his Will dated 22d. Septr. 1760 and
Proved in October 1764 Left a Legacy of One Hundred
Pounds to this Parish in the following Words Vizt.

"I Leave to the Parish of St. Dionis Back Church
"One Hundred Pounds, towards the Expence
"They have had with my Brother Thomas
"Cope."

Which Legacy has been since paid. He therefore desired
the Directions of this Vestry. how the Money shou'd be
applied.

Ordered That the said Legacy of One Hundred
Pounds be Carried into the Public Stock for the Benefit of
the Poor.
