Mr Church Warden Hebert acquainted the Gentlemen
present That the Occasion of this Meeting was for the Choice
of Ward Officers for the year ensuing Vizt Constables
Scavengers and Inquest Men

Inquest Men

And Mr John Johnson< no role > being first in Nomination was
put up to serve the Offices of Constable Scavenger and
Inquest Man for the year ensuing and Chose

Then Mr Joseph Chorley< no role > being next in Nomination was
put up to serve the Offices of Constable Scavenger and Inquest
Man for the year ensuing. But Mr George Maynard< no role > Moved
that Mr Chorley be exused from serving the said Offices for
one year as he was going soon to leave the Parish. And being
Seconded the Question was put on the said Motion and past in
the Affirmative

Ordered that Mr Joseph Chorley< no role > be excused from Serving
the Offices of Constable Scavenger and Inquest Man for one
Year

Then Mr Griffith Pattenden< no role > being next in Nomination
was put up to serve the Offices of Constable Scavenger and
Inquest Man for the year ensuing and Chose

Collectors of
Lamp Tax

Then Mr Henry Newton< no role > and Mr James Hebert< no role > Junr
were severally put up And Ordered to be returned to the
Wardmote for Collectors of the Lamp Tax for the year
ensuing and Chose

Common Council
Men

Afterwards Mr George Maynard< no role > and Mr William
Chesson were severally Nominated and Ordered to be returned
to the Wardmote for Common Council Men for the year
ensuing
