Opinion to be put up as a Candidate To which it was answerd
by others of the Gentlemen present that the said Thomas Oswin< no role >
had been an Old Inhabitant and was in their Opinion the most
Capable and fit person to serve the Office of any of the
petitioners and Debates arising Mr Samuel Mestrezatt< no role >
Moved that none be admitted as Candidates for the said
place but those who were now Parishioners and being
Seconded the Question was put on the said Motion and
carryed in the Affirmative
Ordered That none be admitted as Candidates for the
place of Sexton or Sextoness of this parish but those who
are now Parishioners
Ordered That the Ballott for the Choice of a Sexton or
Sextoness of this parish be open'd on Wednesday next being
the 8th instant at 10 o Clock in the forenoon and be finally Closed
at 2 o Clock the same day.
Ordered That Vestry be Adjourned to Wednesday
the 18th instant at 10 o Clock in the forenoon to take the said Ballot
And the same was adjourned accordingly
