This Vestry was held pursuant to Publick Notice
given in the Church for the Choice of Parish Officers for the
Year ensuing and upon other Affairs

Church Wardens

And Mr Henry Newton< no role > being first in Nomination
was put up to Serve the office of Upper Church Warden for
the Year ensuing and Chose

Then Captn William Wyld< no role > was put up to Serve the
Office of under Church Warden for the Year ensuing and Chose

Poor Rate
Collectors and
Sidesmen

Then Mr Thomas Newton< no role > and Mr Aeneas Mc Millan< no role >
were severally put in Nomination to Serve the Offices of
Collectors for the Poor and Sidesmen for the Year ensuing
and Chose.

Organist

Ordered That Mr John Bennet< no role > be continued Organist
for the Year ensuing

Engine Keeper

Ordered That Mr John Cooper< no role > be continued Keeper of
the Fire Engines for the Year ensuing

Sextoness

Ordered That Sarah Parker< no role > This name instance is in set 1455. be continued Sextoness
for the Year ensuing

Parish Clerk

Ordered That Mr John Winter< no role > Oswin the Parish
Clerk be Allowed a Sum not exceeding the Sum of Twenty
Pounds to be paid him by the Church Warden for one Year
only to Commence from Lady day last as a Gratuity only
and not as a fixed Salary upon Condition that he dont
presume to Collect any Money or Voluntary Payment in
Lieu of Wages And that he constantly Attends and Discharge
the Duty's of his place as parish Clerk upon all
Occasions

Auditors

Ordered That Mr George Maynard< no role > Mr Robert
Crafton Mr John Perkins< no role > Mr Peter Pope< no role > and Mr Robert
Scouthroupe or any three of them be appointed Auditors to
Audit the Account of Mr Richard James< no role > the same to be
Audited in one Month.
