It was then moved that the order of Vestry made on
Thursday the 10th of this Instant January appointing this
Day for the Choice of a Lecturer in the Room of Dr Dixon
be now read and the same was Read accordingly

Election by
Ballot

Then Mr Church Warden James Moved that the Revd
Mr Rhudde might be Chose Lecturer of this Parish in the
Room of the Reverend Dr Dixon (Saving always the Parish
Rights to Proceed by Ballot at any future Election In Case,
there shoud be more than one Candidate) and being Seconded
the Question was put on the said Motion and carried
Unanimously for Mr Rhudde to be Lecturer, And Mr Church
Warden James thereupon declared him duly Elected (Saving
always the Parish Rights aforesaid)

And Mr Rhudde being sent for and acquainted with
the Order and Resolution of this Vestry, he returned his
hearty Thanks to all the Gentlemen Present for this Publick
Mark of their Favour and regard to him

Ordered that the Thanks of this Vestry be given to the
Reverend Dr Dixon (late Lecturer) for his Carefull and regular
discharge of his Office And the Two Church Wardens were
desired to acquaint him therewith.
