At a Meeting of the Inhabitants of the North
and South Precincts of this Parish held the 13th day
of December 1759 .

Mr Church Warden James acquainted the Gentlemen
present That the Occasion of this Meeting was for the
Choice of Ward Officers for the Year ensuing Vizt Constables
Scavengers and Inquest Men

And Mr Benjamin Lucas< no role > being the first in Nomination
was putup to serve the Offices of Constable Scavenger
and Inquest Man for the Year ensuing and Chose

Then Mr Joseph Kippax< no role > being next in Nomination
was put up to serve the Offices of Constable Scavenger
and Inquest Man for the Year ensuing, but Mr Kippax
Alledged in Excuse that he was not Eligible to Serve the
said Offices, having never been Rated, nor paid to the
Constable or Scavenger, but his Excuse not being
Allowed, the said Mr Joseph Kippax< no role > was Chose
Constable Scavenger and Inquest Man for the Year
ensuing And ordered to be returned to the Wardmote
accordingly

Collectors of
Lamp Tax

Then Mr Robert Crafton< no role > and Mr Peter Pope< no role >
were severally put up and Ordered to be returned
to the Wardmote for Collectors of the Lamp Tax for the
Year ensuing

Common Council
Men

Then Mr George Maynard< no role > & Mr William Chesson< no role > were
severally Nominated and Ordered to be returned to the
Wardmote for Common Council Men for the Year ensuing
