the poor of this parish Upon the Terms mentioned in
such proposalls And that proper Articles of Agreement
be prepared and Entred into for that purpose And
that the said Comittee be Indemnifyed for so doing
by this parish

Maintenance of
Poor.

This Vestry was held pursuant to publick Notice
given in the Church

And Mr Church Warden Newton from the Comittee
(appointed to treat and Agree with Nurse Jackson for
the receiving and maintaining the poor of this parish
pursuant to her proposalls and to an Order of Vestry
made the 19th of Feby: last) Reported that Nurse
Jackson had receded from her former proposalls
believing herself not Capable to carry them into
Execution And that the Comittee had since received
other proposalls from Mr Richd Birch Signed by him for
receiving and maintaining the poor of this parish
upon the Terms therein mentioned and he read the
same in his place

And the said proposalls being taken into
Consideration Mr Mestrezatt Moved that the said
Comittee be Empowered by this Vestry to Treat and
