Scullard Desired to be Excused
from being returned to the
Wardmote for Common
Councel Men.

And Mr John Townsend< no role > and Mr Daniel Taylor< no role >
two of the Common Councel men for the Ward of Langbourne
desired to be Excused from being returned to the Wardmote for
Common Council Men for the Year ensuing and in short but
handsome speeches acknowledged 12th thankes the Favours
they had received from the two Precincts, and Mr George
Scullard another of the Common Councel Men did by Letter
(which was delivered in at the Table and read) acqure
the Gent that he had refered in the Country and returned
his thankes for all favours and hearty wishes for the
Prosperity of the Ward

Ordered to be returned to

and Ordered to be returned accordingly
