Mr Baker to paint the Hall

The severall Proposalls of Mr Baker, Mr Pitches and Mr Bellwood for Painting The Hall
The Clerk and Beadles houses and other Work according to their severall Particulars were now laid
before this Court And Itt appearing That Mr John Baker< no role > 's Proposalls being thirty five Pounds
were the Cheapest Itt was now Ordered That Mr John Baker< no role > do the said Work but there being an
Omission of some small Matter in his Estimate he doth now agree to do the same according to
Mr Pitches Proposalls Which are as follow Vizt.

Painting Work to be done for the Worshipfull Company of Carpenters att their Hall
All The outside Work of the Clerk and Beadles houses The Iron Work of the Garden The outside Work
of the Compting house and the Iron Railes going to the same The Bog house Hen Coop & Bottle
Rack to be done 3 times in Oyle.

Work to be done for the Worshipfull Company of Carpenters and Mr James Fordham< no role >
The Front of the Hall and the East end from the top down to the Garden Plaistering and all three
times in Oyl the end next the Alley the Cornish and two sash Windows The Pediment in front painted
as before The two Cisterns of the leaden pipes gilt & the Arms put in as before The Outside Gates and Passages up to the Hall and The North front of the Hall facing the
Garden.

Agreemt. with Mr Moreland for
doing the Bricklayers Work}

Mr Thomas Moreland< no role > proposed to undertake the Bricklayers Work for the New intended Buildings
att London Wall for the following prizes (that is to say) The Brick Work for £5:10s:0d P Rod
and to do the front with Stocks And the Arches to be rubbed and gaged and sett in putty, To do the new
Plain tyleing att £1:6s:0d P square, and the Pan tyleing att 18s P square, And also to allow the
Company £1:5s:0d P Rod for the Old Brick Work and to pull down and Clear away And to allow
8s P square for the Old plain tyleing, And 5s P square for the Old Pan tyleing, Which Proposalls
this Company now agreed to and Ordered the Clerk to prepare Articles accordingly.
