order thereupon}
The Committee appointed att the last Court held for this Company now reported they had
taken a View of the severall repaires wanting to be done upon the expiracon of Mr Meads
Lease of a house in Lymestreete
which expires att Midsummer next and then comes into the
hands of this Company And further reported That Mr Lindsey who was Tennant to the said
Mr Mead has laid out a large sume of money on the Premisses and Claimed a right of taking
away the wainscote Marble Slabbs and other Goods and Things in the said Premisses And
therefore hoped this Company (in Consideracon thereof and of his leaving the said Goods and Things on
the Premisses) would give him the sume of One hundred Pounds Mr Mead having resigned all
his Right and Title to the said Premisses to the said Mr Lindsey Thereupon and upon Debate
of the matter Itt is Ordered That Mr Warden Barlow do pay Mr Lindsey the sume of Eighty
Pounds in Consideracon of
the said Mr Lindseys having laid out a large sume of money on the
Premisses and the same being left in so good and tenantable repaire But not that Mr Mead or
Mr Lindsey have any right to Claime the same or to take away any of the said Goods
before menconed
