Examined the Prisons and found them clean

The Calendar of the Prisoners being laid before the Committee
there appeared to be

40 Men
6 Apprentices
23 Women
1 Child
70.

The Taskmaster having represented that an Offer has been
made to him to give Three Shillings & Cont. for beating Hemp the
Sub-Committee thought it right to order the Taskmaster to agree
with that Person for beating some Hemp at that Rate and to
keep an Account thereof that the Money may be duly received
and that he take care to keep the Hemp which he receives to
be beat as above seperate from the Hemp purchased at the
Expence of the House.
