Examined the Prisons & found them clean,
& the white washing nearby compleated

The Calender of the Prisoners being laid before
the Committee there appeared to be

19 Men
6 Apprentices
27 Women
1 Child-

ThatResolved that the following notice be inserted three
times in the Daily Advertiser, the Gazetteer & the Times
Bridewell Hospital

Wanted a Sober industrious Man to Superintend the
work of the Prisoners & Apprentices in this House. He
must have been used to the business of picking Oakum
& have Some Knowledge of Spinning. It will be expected
that he Should reside in the Hospital & the whole of his
time Should be employed in attending the Prisoners-
A Committee of Governors will meet at the Hospital on.
Wednesday the 10th. October at ten O Clock precisely when application
for the above place will be received
