The Memorandums of the Sub-Committee were read


The Calender of Prisoners was laid before the Committee by which it appeared
there were20 Men
12 Women
3 Apprentices
in confinement

Steward to Procure the
Orders as directed by Act of
Parlt. to be hung up.Ordered the Steward to procure the several Orders as directed by Act of parliament
to be hung up in prisons and to lay them before the Committee at their next
meeting.

Commee Consider Act
respectg. Rogues and
Vagabounds.The Committee taking notice of an Act of the last Sessions of Parliament
respecting Rogues and Vagabonds.

Women Prisoners not
to be Corrected.Ordered That in conformity to the said Act the Correction of the House be not
inflicted upon any Female Prisoner in future.

Warrants of Prisoners
discharged to be kept
on a Separate File.Ordered that the Warrants of the prisoners discharged be preserved upon a
seperate File

Prisons to be Scraped
& Whitewashed.Ordered that both the prisons be scraped and washed with Lime as soon as
possible.
