This Committee having taken into
Consideration the several Estimates made by the
Surveyor as directed by the last Committee amounting
to the following Sums Vizt. That for Converting the
Room in the 2 Pair Storey of the Center Building
between both Court Yards into an Infirmary for
Men to £186..12s..10d and that for Converting
the upper Room over the Womens Prison into an
Infirmary for Women to £126..4s..10d And also for
Converting the Old Watchhouse into an Apothecarys
Shop to £19..7s..3d are of Opinion that it will
not be necessary to fit up the said Infirmarys in
the Strong & Expensive manner or to make the
Cells or divisions as mentioned in the said Estimate
Infirmary's to be
fitted up

to be
fitted up
It is therefore Ordered that the said
Infirmarys be immediately fitted up under the
directions of the Surveyor in the most plain & least
expensive way. And it is further Ordered
that the Old Watchhouse be fitted up for the
Use of the Apothecary Agreeable to the sd. Estimate
under the direction of the Surveyor.
