Thursday in last Easter Week was Elected Overseer of the
Poor for Covent Garden Precinct
in this Parish for the year
then next Ensuing, as follows (vizt.)

It is a disagreeable Task to me to inform you
that I find Business does not answer any Expectation
therefore I mean to Quit this Parish very shortly, I
have taken the Earliest Opportunity of acquainting you of
my Intention, as the Parish may appoint an other
Overseer
in my Room
