in order that the Workmen in the several branches of Building may
deliver in their proposals for doing the several Works according to such
Plan And that after such Plan and Estimate are delivered in do
Cause Notice to be given in the Church thereof, for the Workmen
to deliver in their proposals on a certain day to be fixed.

At a Vestry held in the Vestry Room in the Church on
Wednesday the 12th. day of August 1767

Read & Confirmed the Minutes & Proceedings of the last Vestry

The Churchwardens Acquainted the Vestry that they have caused
a Survey to be made of their Engine by Mr Bristow the Engine
Maker in their presence, And that the same is entirely worn
out unserviceable & cannot be repaired And that the Expence &
Charge of a New Engine of the fourth Size which the said
Mr Bristow declares to be the most useful and handy of any,
being one Size larger than the present Engine, will be
Forty four pounds

Ordered that a New Engine of the fourth Size be
immediately procured by the Churchwardens.
