Alderman Shaw had also attended said Committee
Lands with them and laid before the said Committee
great Nuisance the narrow part of Aldgate was to the [..]
in general and the Injury it was of to the Inhabitants
and in the Neighbourhood that the Chairman of the
Committee asked Him and the Deputation of this Committee
who accompanied him whether they had fixed on a
particular Mode of carrying into Effect the plan
by them for Adoption by the City and what pecuniary
other Assistance in particular they asked of the

by several Members of the Sub Committee appoint
by this Committee on said 10th. of November last
said Meeting of the Committee of City Lands and
Surveyor's Report was read to them containing

Recommendation in preference to the City purchase
the whole property the lending the Name of the Cass's
to the Parish for the purpose of their purchasing the
