Whereas Samuel Knott< no role >
of Queen Street
within the sd Parish Tradesman was
on Easter Tuesday last being the 16 day of April 1734 Chosen to Serve Scavenger
of the uper precinct of the sd. Parish for this present year According to the fAnn
of the Statute in the Case made & provided And whereas the sd Samuel Knott< no role >
hath been Confirmed in the sd Office by Warrnts under the hands & Seals of two of
his Maties Justices of the peace
for the sd County according to the form of the sd
statute Not witherstanding which the sd Samuel Knott< no role >
hath refused and Still doth
refuse to Serve the sd Office whereby the sd Samuel hath forfieted the Sum of Ten pounds
Now it is ordered by this Vestry that if any action or actions Suite or Suits be Comenced
against any person or persons in lovying the sd Forferture That then the Charge of
all such Suits & Expences be defrayed by the Parish & paid by the Churchwarden
