Ordered that Capt Thomas Abbits fine of£12..12s..0d
be taken for the use of the poor of the said Mannor and that he
be forever excused from serving any Office in the sd Mannor

No the reason why the said Sum was taken was because
there was Two Offices he cold not be Obliged to serve Vizt. Constable
and Scavenger the first by reason of his being a Pilot and
lyable to be called a way at any time The other as being no
Tradesman and so not liable to Serve Scavenger

Mr Samuel Bromwich and Gerard Meidel Gent
being put in Nomination For Town Clerk the latter
carried it and was Chose by a very Great Majority.

Ordered that Mr Benjamin Dixies fine of£16..0s..0d
be taken for the use of the poor of the said Mannor and that he be forever
excused from Serving Any Office in the sd: Mannor

Ordered that Mr Aron Harringtons< no role > fine of £4..0s..0d be taken for the use aforesd
And that he be forever excused Serving the Office of Overseer in the sd Mannor

Ordered yt Mr Robt: Yorks Fine of £16..0s..0d be taken for the use aforesd
and that he be forever excused from Serving any Office in the sd Parish.

Ordered that Mr Wm Herns< no role > of £2:10s:0d taken to ye use aforesd: to excuse him ye Office of
Scavenger
