thereof in this Parish whereon three houses formerly stood now fallen down formerly in Lease to Mr
William Shakerley< no role > pursuant to an Advertisement for that purpose in
the daily Advertizer And Now Mr. Francis Hill< no role > appeared and
offered to take a Lease of the Premises for Sixty One years from Lady day next At and
Under the yearly rent of Four Pounds Four Shillings payable
Quarterly clear of all Taxes & Deductions and to build thereupon
at his own Costs & Charges in a Strong and substantial manner One Brick
House the whole width of the front next Houndsditch of the second Rate of Buildings appointed by Act of Parliamt [..] building the [..] London [..]
within the Space of One year from Lady day next and to lay out and
expend in the doing thereof not less than the Sum of Three Hundred
and Fifty Pounds and to keep such House when built in good and
sufficient repair during the said Term And at the end thereof leave
the same in such good repair which the Feoffees now present have
agreed to And the said Mr. Hill doth now agree to take and accept of
such Lease of the said Premises for such Term and under such Rent
as aforesaid and to execute a Counterpart thereof And be at the Expense
of the same But it is hereby further agreed that such Lease shall be execute
to such Person as Mr.Hill shall nominate to the Feoffees if they shall
approve of the same. And the said Mr. Hill doth hereby Promise to pay
to the said Feoffees or the Survivor of them or the Excecutes or Administratings of such Survivor in case he shall make
default in building the said House within the said [..] Space of one
year the Sum of Seven Hundred Pounds .
