This Indenture made the Twenty Second day of November in the Eleaventh Year
of ye Reigue of our Soveraign Lord William the Third by the Grace of God of England Scotland France
and Ireland King Defenders of the Faith Etc Annoque Dom. 1699 Witnesseth that Thomas
Trulock
< no role > and Stephen Gifford< no role > Church wardens of the Parish of Aldgate in the Citty of London
And John Sussex< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. one of the Overseers of the Poor of the Said Parish by and with
the Consent of his Majesties Justices of Peace of the Said Citty whose Names are hereunto Subscribed have
put & placed & by these prsents do put & place Sarah Shack Colt a poor Child of the Said Parish Apprentice to Simon Crouch< no role >
of the Parish of Aldgate aforesd: We end & Eliz< no role > his wife with them to dwell and Serve from the day of the date of these presents
unto the end and Terme of Eight Years From thence next ensueing and fully to be
Compleat and endedDuring all which term the said Apprentice her said Mr & Mrs
faithfully shall serve in all lawfull businesses according to her power, wit and ability; and honestly, orderly, and Obediently
in all things demean and behave herself towards her said Mr: & Mrs: and all his during the said term And the said Simon
Crouch doth covenant and grant for himselfs his Executors and Administrators to and with the said Church
wardens and Overseers, and every of them, their and every of their Executors and Administrators, and their and every
of their Successors, for the time being by these Prsents, That he the said Simon Crouch< no role > the said Apprentice , in the Art
Trade or Imployments of a Weaver and Fringe maker which the Mr now useth [..] And Shall & will during
all the term aforesaid, find provid and allow unto the said Apprentice meet, competent, and Sufficient Meat Drink Apparel,
Lodging Washing and all other things, necessary and fit for an Apprentice And also shall and will So provide for the said
Apprentice, that she be not any way a charge to the said Parish or the Parishioners of the same; but of and from all charge shall
and will save the said Parish and Parishioners harmless and indempnified during the said term And at the End of the said
term shall and will make provide, allow, and deliver unto the said Apprentice double Apparel of all Sorts, good and new, that
is to say, a good new suit for the Holy - dayes and another for the Working dayes In Witness who of the Pties above said
to these Prsent Indentures interchangably have put theire hands and seales the day and year above written.

Citty of London - aforesaid do (as much as in us lies) consent to
the Putting forth of the abovesaid Sarah Shack Colt Appren-
