Henry Huxford< no role > maketh oath that his
late Father Samuel Huxford< no role > deced as this Deponent
has been informed by him & which he believes to be
true was in his life time duly bound Apprentice by Indre
to this Deponts Grandfather Samuel Huxford< no role > of
Stoney Lane in the Parish of St Olave in Southwarke
in the County of Surry Farrier & duly Served the
Whole of his Apprenticeship there and that the this
Deponents Said Father did not afterwards do any Act
to gain a settlement Subsequent to his Sd Apprenticeship
That this Deponents Sd Father about three Weeks
before his Death had relief Administred to him by the
then Parish Officers of St Olave aforesaid as being
there legally Settled That he this Deponent never lived
as a hired Servant for the Space of a year in any one
Place nor ever was bound an Apprentice nor ever
Served any Parish Office nor ever rented a house
of Ten Pounds a year or upwards nor ever paid
any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes nor ever did any
Act to gain a Settlement in his own right to his
Knowledge or belief
