Samuel Meredith< no role > maketh oath
that his late Brother James Meredith< no role > deced after
having James a legal Settlement in the Parish of St Botolph
Without Aldgate in the Said County lived in & rented
Part of house at the Yearly Rent of Six Pounds
in the Parish of Barking in the County of Essex
And this Deponent has been informed by his Sd
Brother & which information this Deponent believes
to be true that his Sd Brother never paid any
Poors Rates or Kings Taxes for the Same during
his residence therein nor ever did any Act to gain
Settlement for himself or his Children Subsequent
to this Deponts Brother leaving the Sd Parish
of St Botolph Aldgate
