Susannah Brady< no role > a Singlewoman
Aged about nineteen years maketh oath That She has
been informed by Mr Samuel Batman< no role > Vestry Clerk
of the Parish of St George Hanover Square in the Sd.
County from a Certain Writing which he read to this
Deponent out of a Book & which he told her was an
Examination of her Father John Brady< no role > which had
been taken from him respecting the Settlement of
himself & Family That She this Deponents Parents
were both Natives of Ireland & never did any Act
to gain a Settlement in England and that She this
Deponent was born at Little Tower Hill but did not
mention or refer in Particular to any Parish
whatever And this Deponent Saith that She can
give other Account respecting the Settlement of her
Parents or the Place of her Birth than as before
mentioned from the Writing read to her by the said
Mr Batman That She this Deponent never was bound
an Apprentice nor ever lived as a hired servant for the
Space of a year in any one Place nor was ever Married
nor ever did any Act to gain a Settlement in her own
right That She this Depont togethr With her Brother & Sister
as She has been informed & believes When in their
infancy were all found in a house in the Said parish
of Saint George Hanover Square and afterwards
Put out to Nurse by the Overseers of the Poor
of the same Parish and this Deponents Brother
and Sister were also afterwards Put out Apprentice
by the Parish officers there and this Deponent
have ever Since When She wanted relief been received
