Maketh Oath That he this Depont. hath been Credibly informd
Evenly believes the Same to be true That his said Father
divers Years ago was hired & lived as a hired Servant by the
Year with one Mr Arnold a Cozy Sandler in the Parish
of St. James Clerkenwell in the County of Middlesex at
Certain Yearly wages & continued in Such Service for Several
Years he being then a Fisherman & by means thereof gained
a legal Setlement there and that he did not afterwards do
any Act to gain a Subsequent Settlement and this Deponent
Saith that he never was bound apprentice nor ever lived as
a hired Servant for a year nor ever Rented a house of Ten
Pounds a year nor ever Served Parish office or paid
any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes nor to his Knowledge or
belief hath he done any Act to gain aSubsequentSettlemt.
in his own right
