George Hawkesford< no role > a singleman Maketh oath That divers
Years ago he was duly bound apprentice by Indre to
Joseph Thornwaite< no role > of the Parish of St. Michael Queen
in the City of London Taylor and served three Years of his
Said Apprenticeship there and then by Mutual Consent between
this Depont. & his Fathr. & his said Master the Sd. Indres. were
delivered up in order to be Cancelled & discharged And this
Depont. Saith that he has not since lived as an apprentice nor
as a hired servant for a year nor rented a house of the yearly.
Rent or Value of Ten Pounds nor served any Parish office
nor Paid any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes nor he his
knowledge or belief hath he done any Act to gain a
Settlement since his apprenticeship as above

January 1771 before
