James Osmane< no role > maketh oath That about eight
Years Ago he lived as a hired servant by the year at the
Yearly wages of Ten Pounds with Mrs. Holds worth of
Darby Street in the Parish of Saint Botolph without
Aldgate in the County of Middlesex Brewer and Continued
in such Service for the Space of a year and that during
such his servitude he this Deponent was a single and
unmarried Man And by means thereof as he is advised
gained a legal Settlement in the Said Parish And this
Deponent Saith that he hath not Since lived as a hired
Servant for the Space of a year nor rented a house or other
Tenement of Ten Pounds a year or upwards nor served
any Parochial offices nor Paid any Poors Rates or kings
Taxes nor to his knowledge or belief hath he done any
Act Whereby to gain a settlement since his said Servitude
