William Dill< no role > Maketh oath that about fifty three
years ago he this Deponent was born in the Parish
of St Mary in the Town of Reading in the County of
Berks where this Deponents late Father Acquired
a legal settlement by means of his said Fathers duly
serving his apprentice in ye sd Parish as this
Deponent has been informed and verily believes And
this Depont. farther saith that his said Father did not
to this Deponents knowledge information or belief
Do any Act to Acquire a settlement subsequent to his
sd fathers apprenticeship And this Depont farther saith
that he this Depont. never was an apprentice nor
a hired servant by the year nor ever served any
Parish offices nor ever rented a house of ten pounds a year or upwards nor never did any Act to gain a
settlement in his own right to this Deponents knowledge
or belief And that he hath a wife named Ann< no role >
