John Hassler< no role > Maketh oath that about Twenty
five years ago he lived as a hired servant by the
year (being then a singleman) with Dutton Seaman< no role >
Esqr . who then lived in the parish of Saint Michael
Bassishaw in the City of London at the wages
of Seven pounds by the year and Continued in such
service for the Space of a year & by Means thereof
gained a legal Settlement in the same parish
And this Depont. saith that he hath not since
gained any subsequent Settlement havg never
since been when a Single Man a hired servant by ye year nor
rented a house of Ten pounds a year or
upwards nor served any Parish offices nor
done any Act to Acquire anyother settlemt. And
that he hath a Wife Named Mary< no role > and three
Children to wit Margaret< no role > aged abt. eighteen Years
Mary< no role > aged about twelve Years & John< no role > Aged
aboutTweelveeleven Years the lawfull Issue of this
Depont. by his sd wife.
