Margaret Freke< no role > Singlewoman Maketh oath
that her Father Henry Freke< no role > deced hath often informed
her that about forty eight years ago he was bound
apprentice to John Emmes< no role > a Waterman of the parish
of St. Olave in Southwark in the County of Surry &
duly served his apprenticeship with his sd Master in the
sd parish & by Means thereof gained a legal settlemt.
there which information this Depont. verily believes to
be true And this Depont. doth not know nor has she
been informed that her sd. father subsequent to his sd.
apprenticeship ever Rented a house of ten pounds a
year or upwards or served any Parish offices or did
any Act to gain any settlement after his sd
apprenticeship And this Depont. saith that she was
never a hired servt. by the year nor Married nor ever
bound an apprentice And that she hath not gained
any settlement but in the sd. parish of St. Olave in
right of her sd. father & other birth
