Susannah Wallace< no role > the Wife of William
Wallace
< no role > late a Seaman on Board the Oporto
but now a Prisoner of War at Orleans maketh
Oath that she was Married to her sd. Husband
at Cork in Ireland the Twenty Sixth Day of
Decr. 1781 . that her said Husband was born
in Scotland and has never been an Apprentice
or lived as a hired Servant by the Year in
any Parish or Place for the space of One
Year together or Rented any House or
Lodging of the Yearly Rent or Value of Ten
Pounds or paid any Poors Rate or Kings Tax
or done any Act to her knowledge or belief
to gain a settlement in England, that she
this Deponent was born in Ireland & never
did any Act to her knowledge or belief to
gain a settlement in her own right (except
her Marriage as aforesd.) that she has Three
Children Namely James< no role > aged about Twelve
Years who was taken Prisoner with his
Father, Adam< no role > aged Five years the Twenty
first day of Jany . last who was born in
Angel Court in the Parish of St. Botolph
without Aldgate Middlesex , and Jane< no role > aged
about Two years who was born in Maidinhead
Court in the Parish of St. John Wapping
the lawful issue by her said Husband
