Continued, Friday January 31st.. 1800 .

Wapping, the Leases of which expired at Christmas last, shod,
be accepted as Tenants at Will to the Hospital at the Rents they
then paid their Landlords, provided the same were, in the
opinion of the Surveyor, a fair valuation for the Houses
they occupy.

Monday Decr. 9th. 1799:

That the Committee had examined the Treasurer's Accounts
of the Receipts and Payments, with the Vouchers, and found
the same to be correct.

Monday Decr. 16th.

That the Committee had resolved that he Steward be
authorized to allow to Thomas Major< no role > the Hospital Tenant
in the County of Oxford , £116.12..3½ on Account of Issues
Paid to the Sheriff, of that County.

Thursday, January 16th. 1800.

That the Committee had Resolved to recommend to the next
General Court, that whenever it shall happen that the stated
days for Summoning any of the Committees of this Hospital,
shall fall within Passion Week, the Weeks of Easter or Whitsunside,
or within the twelve days of Christmas, or on any Public
Thanks giving or Fast Day, such Committee may at any previous
Meeting adjourn over to such other time, within that Month,
as the said Committee shall think proper, and the Clerk to
Summon the same accordingly.

That the Committee had taken into consideration the reference
from the General Court, and were of Opinion that the Trade
of a Working Silversmith , would be proper to be added to those
already recommended by them.

And that upon Consideration of the reference with respect
to the Offer made by Roger Owen< no role > , were of Opinion, tha it would
not be for the interest of the Hospital to admit of more than one
of the proposed Young Men as an Artsmaster.

And had ordered different Workmen's and Tradesmen's Bills
to be paid amounting to £820..8..8.

And had resolved that the Treasurer be requested to
Purchase £2000 Reduced Annuities on the Bridewell
Account.
